IpohBug started their Christmas drive this year on December 17, by celebrating the season with presents and McDonald treats for three children’s homes, namely the Rainbow Children’s Home in Buntong, Pertubuhan Kemajikan Harapan Baru in Pasir Pinji, and Pertubuhan Pengurusan Pusat Jagaan 1 Malaysia in Ipoh Garden.
The shrieks and screams of happiness from the children were a delight to hear on this festive occasion, especially to the spokesman of the group fondly known as Uncle Lau by the children.
“Thanks to Ipoh Echo which has highlighted some of our activities for the underprivileged in their publications lately, we have been receiving many enquiries and donations for our charitable work,” added Uncle Lau.
“Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to one and all,” he said.
