The public can now enjoy a 10 percent discount off purchased items at CoopFarmasi which started operations on January 9.
Located along Jalan Raja Musa Aziz, Ipoh, CoopFarmasi is owned by Koperasi Anggota Kerajaan Ipoh Berhad (KAKIB).
“CoopFarmasi is currently offering a 15 percent discount for registered cooperative members and a 10 percent discount for non-members on purchased items.
“As we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic has crippled the national economic sector and greatly impacted citizens. Thus, to help reduce spending, we’re not only offering discounts off purchased items, we’re also giving a 2 percent cashback from total purchases.
“Besides an online purchasing system, CoopFarmasi is also providing free delivery and health inspection service,” he told Ipoh Echo when met at CoopFarmasi yesterday (January 10).
He added, ANGKASA plans to increase participation of cooperatives in the Pharma Wellness project, with a target to open 16 more CoopFarmasi chains in the nearest timeframe and hopefully, 100 more by 2025.
“Apart from reinforcing sales activities, ANGKASA is also looking at many other opportunities, such as producing medicinal products and other quality services at a more competitive market price.
“I would like to congratulate CoopFarmasi for its opening. Hopefully, the over 6,000 cooperative members will give their solid support to make KAKIB’s socio-economic mission a success,” Abdul Fattah expressed.
