In conjunction with the World Stroke Day on October 29, 2021, Malaysia’s largest prescription pharmacy chain, Alpro Pharmacy is organising a public forum to create public awareness about identifying stroke, the prevention of stroke and understanding of post-stroke recovery.
Stroke is recorded as the second leading cause of death according to WHO Global Health Estimates since 2000. Affecting 144 lives every day, COVID-19 infections have raised a bigger concern on increased stroke possibility by 53.3% among individuals as young as 35 years old.
However, people can rebuild their life after stroke with the increasingly accessible post-stroke support. Alpro Pharmacy would like to invite all to join them for this informative session with experts.
