Teacher Saarani’s Tuition (TCS) programme, themed Transition Towards A Prosperous Perak 2022-2023 was launched yesterday at the Multipurpose Hall at Laman Seri Ridzuan.
This is following the success of the TCS programme which was introduced in early February 2021 to help students from the B40 group.
The TCS is a launching programme and is a collaboration between the Perak State Agricultural Development Corporation (Perak SADC) and Yayasan Bina Upaya Darul Ridzuan (YBUDR) to help the B40 with extra tuition. With the launch complete, further details by YBUDR will soon be forthcoming.
The launch programme was completed by the President of the Perak State Women’s Charity and Business Association (BAIDURI), Datin Seri Aezer Zubin.
Perak SADC in a statement informed that the agency also played a role in making the programme a success through donations.
According to the statement, a total of RM1.5 million was donated by Perak SADC to make this TCS programme a success.
“This programme is implemented by Yayaysan Bina Upaya Darul Ridzuan as the coordinator in collaboration with the Perak State Education Department (JPN) and the District Education Office (PPD),” said the statement.
Meanwhile, in her speech, Datin Seri Aezer also touched the hearts of the guests, who included parents, students and teachers.
She spoke a little about the strength of the Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad, in overcoming the various challenges of twists and turns in his life.
She said, the poverty factor is not the end all be all, for a person to forge success.
“The experience gained was also the trigger and inspiration for Dato’ Seri Saarani to create the TCS programme.
“It aims to help students from the B40 group to succeed, especially in the field of education,” she said.
