The newly appointed Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced Monday (28 November 2022) as a public holiday.
This was announced by him today at his first press conference as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia.
“I have discussed this with the Chief Secretary Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali and the Yang di-Pertuan Agong because I have already promised to give leave and move it to next Monday,” he said.
