We’ve recently covered the ‘Drink N’ Draw’ Cartoon Workshop that was part of the Kaki Komik Fest held at Aeon Mall Kinta City. That event featured the ever talented and record breaking Azmi Hussin.
But that’s not where the Drink N Draw series ends. Instead, they will be doing a tour from Ipoh to Seri Iskandar to Lumut. With the Ipoh leg already done, the next stop will be at Kapallorek Artspace in Seri Iskandar on January 22 next year. That event will feature the artists Bophairy and Froggypapa.
After that will be a stop at the Lumut Artwork Website in Lakar, Lumut on March 22 next year, and will feature the artistic talents of Gayour.
The Perak Tour Drink N Draw series is a cartoon and comic drawing workshop programme with the concept of drawing casually with famous cartoon and comic artists.
In addition to promoting cartoon and comic art, the mission and vision of this tour is to empower local talents in addition to encouraging them to build friendships and perform networking with the local art space and local art activists.
This programme is also powered by the Perak Creative Fund under the management of Port Ipoh and Kopi Mesin. As well as solid support from community friends.
