If you haven’t been to the library in awhile, this Saturday will be a great opportunity to visit and breathe in that nostalgic scent. As well as a chance to expose your children to this environment.
The Perak State Public Library Corporation (PPANPk) will be holding a “Libraries Unite Us@PPANPk” event at the Perak State Public Library Corporation on 17, Jalan Raja Dihilir, 31350 Ipoh, Perak. The event will be held on 14 January and run throughout the day form 9.30 am to 5 pm.
This programme is in collaboration with the College of Computer, Informatics and Media Studies, Information Science Studies Center, Mara University of Technology (UiTM).
The big attraction for this event has to be the fact that it will have many different attractions.
For the kids, there is the League of Lambs that runs from 10 am to 3pm, which has activities like “Catch the Fish” and “Shapify”. Followed with a Storytelling Scavenger Hunt from 3 pm to 5 pm, which is open for all.
There will be a Book Concert comprising of exhibitions and talks on the heritage of Perak, as well as indoor, modern and traditional games. A Books & Brew which will have busking and dessert, which is always a great combination.
And throughout the day, food and drinks will be available for purchase, to keep yourself refreshed as you explore even more activities that will run throughout the day.
A bibliophile shouldn’t need an excuse to go to the library, but this is a great chance to enjoy yourself, especially with the family, in the run up to an inevitably hectic Chinese New Year.
