House and 7 motorbikes destroyed in fire in Gelung Pepuyu

A house and seven motorcycles were destroyed in a fire incident at RPA Gelung Pepuyu, today.
The fire, which destroyed 90 percent of the B-class house and motorcycles, fortunately did not involve any casualties.
A spokesperson for the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Perak said that they received a call regarding the incident at 12.11pm.
“Members from the Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) Parit with the help of BBP Seri Iskandar were moved to the scene of the incident.
“Firefighters extinguished the fire using four streams, 400 feet of four water jets from machinery tanks and fire hydrants,” he said in a statement on Thursday.
The operation led by Senior Fire Officer II Shamsul Bahrin Sulaiman ended at 2.14pm.
