TAIPING – Located between the south to the north route of Perak, the Bukit Merah Laketown Resort (BMLR) theme park needs no further introduction.
Its location, which is easily accessible via the North-South Highway, makes BMLR easy to visit.
Based on these factors, BMLR is seen to remain the main holiday destination in northern Perak by offering various attractions.
It provides different recreational activities in one place according to what visitors like.
Chief Executive Officer of MK Land Holdings Berhad, Datuk Faris Yahaya said, BMLR is always improving what it offers to visitors.
“Visitors can have a fun experience while at this theme park by choosing the recreational activities they are interested in.
“Only at BMLR, we offer recreation such as water parks, theme parks and forest leisure activities while enjoying nature and don’t miss Orang Utan Island,” he said.
He said this in a statement to celebrate the visit of FAM Trip Bersama Perak Media to BMLR recently.
The two-day program is the first visit involving the media this year.
They involved 15 media personnel from various agencies.
This tour session is to allow media personnel to experience being at the theme park for themselves, including doing various activities.
Among the new attractions is the Morning Walk up the lookout hill to witness the spectacular view of the rising sun.
Also felt is the activity of crossing the forest at night for a distance of two kilometres which will surely give a new experience to those who have never tried it.
In addition to the attractions of the water park, activities such as kayaking or boating down Bukit Merah Lake, which is the first man-made lake in Malaysia, are no less interesting.
For those who love to eat, BMLR also has a place to dine, serving a variety of delicious dishes to enjoy.
