KAMPAR: A man suffered serious injuries after the lorry he was driving crashed on Jalan Malim Nawar, Tanjung Tualang, near here today.
According to Senior Fire Officer I Zahuri Zainal Abidin, the 43-year-old victim was trapped on the driver’s side.
He also said that the fire department received a call regarding the incident at 12.35 in the afternoon before members of the Kampar Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) rushed to the location.
“Firefighters used rescue equipment to remove the trapped victim and then handed the victim over to the ambulance for follow-up treatment,” he told reporters.
The operation ended completely at 1.45 pm.
