IPOH BOY EATERY & HIS POPULAR ‘KSHF’ HAS MOVED HERE
By Anne Das
Ipoh Boy Eatery just opened its spanking new kopitiam in the neighbourhood of Taman Ipoh Impian and is already serving up consistent bowls of delicious velvety Hor fun with many side dishes to satisfy the most discerning customers.
Generously portioned and reasonably priced, you have a choice of either the dry or soup version, and your best bet would be to pair it up with their crunchy plump bean sprouts and their tenderly poached kampung chicken.
Ipoh Boy Eatery is the go-to spot when you want a hearty plate of poached ‘Kampung Chicken’ cooked just right – tender and flavourful. The texture of the meat was outstandingly juicy, and was complimented with a fragrant soy sauce, pepper, and homemade chili sauce.
The food here happens to be one of the better ones, tastes genuinely local and the environment is characteristically Ipoh – relaxed and casual. Their other specialities include Kampung Chicken Rice (for lunch), Braised Chicken Feet and Octopus.
This kopitiam is owned and run by Ipoh born Aaron Lee, known (by his regulars) for his soft-spoken mannerisms, the cleanliness of his place and his huge passion for the food he makes. Next time you are around the neighbourhood, be sure to try out their specials and be pleasantly satisfied.
The review of the food served here is rather simple – everything was absolutely on point!
