KUALA KANGSAR: Continuous heavy rain and strong winds caused an incident of fallen trees in Kampung Kandang Hilir, here yesterday evening.
According to the Operation Commander of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Perak, Syed Azrul Hizam, he received a call regarding the incident at 6.56 pm.
He also said that members of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (BBP) Kuala Kangsar were moved to the location for a special service to cut fallen trees blocking the road.
“The fallen tree was caused by the strong wind and heavy rain that occurred yesterday afternoon. Firefighters helped cut the tree that was blocking traffic near an oil refinery here,” he said.
