On the 19th of April 2023, JCI Kinta and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the UTAR Kampar Campus in Perak. This MoU marks the beginning of a collaborative partnership between the two organisations.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by representatives from both organisations, led by Mr. Tan Teck Yin , President of JCI Kinta, and Ir Prof. Dato’ Dr. Ewe Hong Tat, President of UTAR.
The ceremony started with speeches from both presidents, highlighting the significance of this partnership in promoting youth leadership and community development.
The MoU outlines several areas of collaboration between JCI Kinta and UTAR, including joint projects and initiatives, knowledge sharing, and networking opportunities. This partnership will provide UTAR students with valuable opportunities to work on community-based projects with JCI Kinta members, allowing them to gain practical experience and contribute to society.
This MoU signing ceremony is an excellent example of how organisations can come together to create a positive impact on society. By working together, JCI Kinta and UTAR can achieve their shared goal of developing young leaders who are committed to making a difference in their communities.
The delegates from JCI KINTA were Randolph Tan, Jasper Ngai, Stephanie Hew, Alan Cheng, and Frank Ho. Delegates from UTAR include Ms. Hee Chwen Yee, and Jerome Fong.
