IPOH – The services of former Perak coaches and athletes were appreciated when they received aid from the state government as incentives for SUKMA 2022 athletes.
For the assistance of the welfare unit of former athletes, the recipient is the heir of the late Tang Choo Mong who has sohwn service and devotion in the athletic sports arena from 1975 until 2023.
The deceased died on February 4, 2023, due to heart disease.
He received the assistance of RM3,000.
For the SUKMA 2022 victory incentive, the first recipient is weightlifter Muhammad Danial Dahlan who won the gold medal in the 67 kilograms (kg) category amounting to RM5,000.
Next is Zulzafari Roslan who won the Bronze medal in the 89 kg category in the same sport amounting to RM1,000.
The awards were presented by the Menteri Besar of Perak, Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad at Wisma Sukan State Perak.
