Founded by ‘effervescent’ artist and art teacher Kareem, ‘The Ipoh Fine Art Class’ offers a wide range of creative events designed to help you unleash your inner artist and connect with like-minded individuals. From painting sceneries outdoors, to literally painting the town red to sharing a bite and getting creative with your besties. There’s something for everyone.

But it’s not just about the classes themselves – it’s the community that Kareem has built around them. As someone who believes that anyone can be an artist, Kareem is passionate about providing a platform for creatives to come together, express themselves, explore, and ultimately share what they have created. With students ranging in age from 8 to 80, you’re sure to find a welcoming and supportive environment that encourages you to let your creativity soar.

The ‘Art in the Park’ programme will give aspiring artists the opportunity to get out of the classroom and interact with the majesty of the great outdoors! Paint in one of the many beautiful local parks in Ipoh picnicking beneath blue skies and finding their muse amid lush surroundings.

Instead of hitting your usual watering hole, sign up for Adult Painting Classes titled ‘Art after Dark’ in Ipoh for a more colourful night out. Get those creative juices flowing and release your inner artist. Whether you need an activity for an evening with your best gals or you’re looking for cute date ideas, or even go solo and socialise, these new classes fit the bill. Available monthly starting in June.

Calling all local artists who are new to Ipoh’s Art scene and looking for a platform to grow or to showcase your work. This one’s for you!

The ‘Ipoh Sketchbook Club’ is set up to be a meeting point for local artists and art enthusiasts to create, connect, exchange ideas, and discuss current issues facing local artists. This platform will provide endless opportunities for artists to connect with the community and vice versa. Get in touch as soon as you can!

Currently, Ipoh Fine Art Class  holds on- going classes every weekend ( Friday to Sunday) covering painting and drawing using dry media– such as pencils, pens, pastels, crayons and charcoal.  And with wet media which includes watercolour, oils as well as acrylic covering a range of subjects such as still-life, landscapes, animals, and portraits. These classes are 2 hours per session and are for students who are passionate about art. The cost of these drawing and painting classes are RM 150 for 4 classes per month.
