Efforts to establish the city of Ipoh as a clean city may be hindered if the public continues to lack discipline in managing waste disposal effectively.
Despite the Ipoh City Council (MBI) providing trash bins, some traders still do not know how to use them properly.
The sight of piled-up trash outside business premises, especially in the vicinity of the city centre, leaves a negative impression, particularly on foreign tourists.
Cooperation with the MBI is needed to facilitate easy and swift waste management. Let us foster a responsible attitude towards continuously preserving the cleanliness of our environment.
The MBI should take decisive action and impose fines on traders who fail to manage their trash appropriately.
Location: Adjacent to business premises on the main road junction at Greentown Business Centre.
