Perak Community Specialist Hospital (“PCSH”) is a non-profit hospital that has stood to serve the community since 1904. Holding true to its founding vision and mission to provide affordable quality healthcare to the people, PCSH continues to foster closer relationship with the general public by frequently engaging the community through different activities.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, PCSH will be organizing a Community Day on Saturday, 22nd April 2017 to provide free healthcare consultation and health screenings to the public. The half day event will be held from 8am to 1pm at PCSH, Ipoh.
Free Consultation by Specialists
During the day, 9 medical volunteers from PCSH will be giving FREE consultation (excluding procedure or treatment) for the first 20 patients in their respective clinics, from 9am to 1pm.

Besides, there will be various informational health talks with Q&A sessions conducted by following consultants. Interested audience can come and learn more about the topics shared.

Health Screenings & Blood Donation Campaign
In addition, there will also be various health screening booths set up to provide services to the public. Areas of screening include blood pressure, blood glucose, BMI measurement, bone density test, eye screening, diabetic neuropathy screening, orthoscopic (hearing) examination, and hair scalp analysis. The PCSH Resident dietician will also be giving free dietetic counselling to those who come.
Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun Ipoh is complementing the day’s activities by setting up a blood donation corner at the lobby of the hospital. Donors are most welcome to participate in this campaign from 8:30am to 1pm.
Goodie Bags Available
As an appreciation to the public support over the years, individuals who sign up for selected health screening packages or donate blood will receive a goodie bag. It consists of BioGrow Oat BG22, Jasmine rice pack, notepad, pen, products sampling, just to name a few.
