BAGAN SERAI: Five vehicles collided because of a buffalo crossing the highway, in a road accident at KM 200, North-South Highway, Kampung Matang Pasir here early this morning
“The accident involved five cars where the first car hit the buffalo, causing the other four cars to plow into each other.
“There were minor injuries to several drivers/passengers riding in the vehicles,” he said in a statement here today.
He said the head of operations ensured that no victims were trapped.
“The injured victims was rushed to the hospital by three ambulances and all the vehicles that collided were managed by the police and PLUS highways for further action.
“Four adult victims who were riding in a Myvi type vehicle suffered minor injuries, one of the four victims who were riding in a Honda CRV type vehicle were also injured, while the other three Satria Neo, Alza and Toyota Yaris type vehicles were uninjured,” he said.
He said, the operation was under control at 4.45 am and ended completely at 5.10 am.
