MUALLIM: A total of 800 participants participated in the Mualim Cross Country Run 2023 organised by the Tanjong Malim District Council at Ujana Muallim here recently.
Chairman of the Housing and Local Government Committee, Sandrea Ng Shy Ching said the programme which has entered its third year, has increased participants compared to around 400 people last year.
Sandrea released event participants for the 25km, 10km and 5km runs and also took part in the 5km event to appreciate the beauty around Ujana Muallim.
“Various interesting activities such as zumba, sports events, traditional games, petting zoo, busking and many more.
“This program not only raises the name of the Mualim District, especially in the eco-tourism sector, but is also capable of increasing local economic activities.
“Well done and congratulations to everyone who made the Mualim Cross Country Run 2023 a success,” she said via Facebook here.
