The Perak Bar Committee believes that a healthy community is a thriving one. On September 23rd, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the Perak Malayalee Association (PMA Hall) in Bandar Ipoh Raya will transform into a hub dedicated to health.
Blood Donation – A Noble Act with Lifesaving Benefits
Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun Ipoh has joined hands with the Perak Bar to facilitate blood donation sessions at the event. Donating blood is an act of selflessness that directly contributes to saving lives. As an added bonus, every donor will receive a comprehensive health screening, ensuring that their well-being is in top shape.
Diabetes Screening – Know Your Health Status
The Diabetes Association (Perak Branch) will be on-site to offer free diabetes screenings. These screenings are crucial for the early detection and management of diabetes, a condition that affects many in our community. Understanding one’s blood sugar levels can be a game-changer for health, and this service will provide valuable insights into various health indicators.
Cancer Awareness & Screening – Early Detection Saves Lives
The National Cancer Society of Malaysia will raise awareness about cancer prevention and provide screenings. Detecting cancer in its early stages significantly improves the chances of successful treatment.
