Canning Garden Methodist Church (CGMC), in collaboration with Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun (HRPB) and Hospital Fatimah, are organising a blood donation drive on October 29 (Sunday), from 10.30 am till 1.30 pm at the Canning Garden Methodist Church at 23, Jalan Keliling, Taman Canning, Ipoh.
To promote this vital activity, which can not only save lives but even improve the quality of life for many, donors will get free Blood Pressure and Blood Glucose (Sugar) Tests by doctors at CGMC. As well as free Body Mass Index (BMI) and % visceral fat measurement by Herbal Life.
Successful Donors will also get a limited edition Blood Group Keychain from Hospital Fatimah and a Goody Bag from CGMC.
Eligibility criteria for donors include:
– Age 18 to 60 years old
– weight exceeding 45 kg
– slept for at least 5 hours the night before
– not pregnant, menstruating or breastfeeding
Visitors are asked to wear their face masks and to bring their MyKad and donor book (if any).
