Two men were arrested in the Special Operation to Curb Illegal Parking Attendants

IPOH: The police successfully arrested two local men for engaging in illegal parking attendant activities around Pasar Karat, Jalan Lim Bo Seng here yesterday.

According to a statement by the District Police, the two men, aged 48 and 56, were arrested during a Special Operation to Curb Illegal Parking Attendants in the city of Ipoh conducted by the Traffic Enforcement Branch of the State Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Division, IPD Ipoh, Perak.

The statement mentioned that the operation was carried out in the form of surveillance patrols and preventive research based on public complaints regarding the activities of “Ulat Parkir” in the central area of Ipoh.

“Any individual found committing offenses and involved in the ‘Ulat Parkir’ activity can be charged under sections such as Section 50(3) of the Road Transport Act 1987 and Section 119(2) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

“Thanks to the concerned residents of Ipoh for providing information to the police, leading to the arrest of these suspects,” it said.
