Humanity Ride 2023 will take place on November 5 (Sunday) with registration starting at 2 pm and the flag off planned for 4.15 pm. There will be some light refreshments around 3.20 pm, followed by a safety briefing before the flag off. The ride will start from the Gurdwara Sahib Menglembu, Ipoh and finish at the Wadda Gurdwara Sahib Ipoh.
With a target of about 150 to 200 participants, the organisers were asked why they were doing the event, to which the President of Wadda Gurdwara Sahib Ipoh, Mr. Rajinder Singh A/L Hakum Singh explained, that it was to give the community and especially the youth, something healthy and meaningful to do. They wanted to encourage positive activities among the youth.
This Humanity Ride is not a competition, but a fun activity to bring the community together.
Asked regarding sponsorship, they mentioned that Revive was donating 25 cartons of their drinks. However, this event is for the community and not about making profit, so any funds gathered are for making this event a success.
