TROLAK: A landslide incident that occurred on the roadside near Felda Trolak Jaya, Sungkai, here today, resulted in several trees falling and blocking the highway.
The spokesperson for the Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) stated that the incident that occurred early this morning also disrupted traffic on the main road.
“Members from the Slim River Fire and Rescue Station received information about the incident at 6:30 am.
“At around 6:47 am, the firefighters arrived at the scene and found a landslide incident on the roadside.
“It also caused trees to fall and block the highway,” he said in a statement here today.
He further explained that the operation to cut the trees and clear the road was carried out.
The operation was led by PBK II Isma Mohamad Ubaidullah Ahmad Rani.
