IPOH: Perak’s tourism prospects are promoted through Tourism Perak’s participation in the 9th World Halal Summit and 10th OIC Halal Expo 2023 at the Istanbul Trade Center, Turkey.
Tourism Perak joined the delegation of the Perak State Government through the State Economic Planning Unit (UPEN) Perak.
This trade exhibition and related programs in the halal industry gathered participation from over 500 companies representing 45 countries, targeting more than 40,000 visitors over the 3-day period.
Three travel and exploration agencies were present to provide exposure and offer special Perak state packages, indirectly promoting the tourism sector in conjunction with Visit Perak 2024.
Throughout the program, the Perak State Government delegation engaged in discussions with various tourism and exploration agencies from Turkey, fostering cooperation to attract more tourists to Malaysia, particularly to Perak.
In addition to Tourism Perak, the Pavilion Malaysia Showcase was attended by over 40 companies and entrepreneurs from across Malaysia.
