The Junior Chamber of International (JCI) Ipoh held their 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM) last night at Glass House in the Royal Perak Golf Club.
During the meeting, they recounted the activities which they’ve organised over the course of 2023, including a charity drive for the Perak Deaf Sports Association (PESDeaf) and the 520 Charity Movie Event, where they treated children from several orphanages to a day at the movies, which included gifts of schoolbags from their sponsors.
In addition, they have elected their board of directors for the year 2024 as well as proposed their targets and intentions for the coming year 2024.
JCI is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) which fosters leadership in their members through organising activities. Its members are the 40 years and under youth, composed of people from all walks of life; with many being entrepreneurs who take the opportunity of being JCI members to improve their skills, perform charity and to do networking with other members and the various sponsors of events.
