KUALA KANGSAR: A three-storey building owned by Peladang was destroyed by 30 percent in a fire incident today at Persiaran Bendahara Bandar Utama, here.
According to Assistant Director of Operations of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Perak, Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad, they received an emergency call regarding the incident at 7:41 pm.
He stated that personnel from the Kuala Kangsar Fire and Rescue Station, assisted by Sungai Siput and Meru Raya Fire and Rescue Stations, rushed to the scene.
“Upon arrival, the team found a three-storey Peladang building on fire, with 30 percent of it affected.
“Fire extinguishing operations are currently ongoing,” he said.
The operation is led by Senior Fire Officer II Saiful Hanis Mohd Ayub.
