IPOH: The effectiveness of using social media to disseminate information, given the popularity of these platforms in today’s era, is undeniable.

Sharing videos on Facebook, for example, is highly favored, especially among the younger generation.

Even the Perak State Office of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDN) utilizes the same method as one of its information channels.

Over the past month, KPDN Perak has actively shared videos of operations and raids, receiving positive reactions from online users.

This includes raids on premises hiding packaged cooking oil, refusing to sell sugar at subsidized prices, and other offenses involving controlled goods.

The videos garnered significant engagement with up to 72,000 likes, 7,800 comments, and nearly 10,000 shares.

Many among the online community praised the video sharing.

Ron Sejati commented; “Best KPDN Perak.. carry out the tasks entrusted by the Malaysian people.”

Ryliazz; “The best…. indeed KPDN acts swiftly.. thank you for listening to the voice of the people… the best.”

Rasidi Kecik; “Even in Teluk Intan district, the same. Hope KPDN checks, most common, sugar that is not available. Thank you.”
