Perak in Semi-Final Despite Draw

Perak booked a berth in the semi-final of the 2017 Tun Abdul Razak Cup after a 1-1 draw with Johor in their third game at Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Stadium, Ipoh on Thursday, November 9.

Perak’s Muhammad Najib Abu Hassan scored the opening goal in the 26th minute through a penalty corner.
As the game was about to end, Johor’s Mohd Nor Aqmal Abdul Ghaffar equalised via a penalty corner in the 56th minute.

The last-minute equaliser did not dampen the spirit of the vociferous home crowd. They continued cheering their team till the final whistle.

Despite showing grit and enthusiasm, luck somehow eluded Perak.
