IPOH: A malfunctioning traffic light at Jalan Sultan Idris Shah trapped road users for nearly half an hour.
This situation also resulted in the road becoming congested because the traffic light turned green for only a short period.
At times, it didn’t turn green at all, staying only yellow and then turning red again.
An observation at the location found many drivers choosing to turn back and make U-turns immediately due to the long wait.
It is hoped that the authorities can resolve this issue promptly, especially during peak hours and high vehicle volumes at certain times.
