A blood donation campaign organised by the Baha’i Community of Ipoh and Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun (HRPB) Blood Bank, was successfully held yesterday at the Bercham Baha’i Centre.
They were able to meet their target of collecting 30 bags of blood, which were donated by people from all walks of life, including a few foreigners.
This isn’t the first blood donation campaign that Baha’i Community of Ipoh has had a hand in, such as the previous one reported here, and it likely won’t be the last.
With the holidays coming up, such as Chinese New Year in February and Ramadan in March, the number of road accidents will inevitably rise, and the need for blood will be vital in these coming months.
