Positive Approach to Care (PAC) will be holding a workshop for people living with dementia and their caretakers on January 13, from 11am to 1pm. The maximum number of participants is 10, on a first come, first serve basis, with a charge of RM80 per pax.
The workshop will be held at BebeLEC Day Centre at 56, Jalan Lang, 30000 Ipoh and facilitated by Calvin Chong, a PAC Independent Trainer and Emily Wong, a practitioner of PAC.
This workshop will cover topics such as building better relationships with those living with dementia, such as what to say and what not to say to them, as well as the hand-under-hand techniques developed by Teepa Snow.
This workshop will be presented in Malay.
