PDRM Perak High Policing Program enhances confidence of visitors celebrating Thaipusam at Gunung Cheroh

IPOH: The Perak State Police organised the High Profile Policing (HPP) Program in conjunction with the State-level Thaipusam Celebration 2024 at the Arulmigu Sri Subramaniar Temple, Gunung Cheroh, today.
The HPP program aims to ensure the safety of attendees celebrating this event with the presence of police officers, providing confidence to the visitors.
Perak Deputy Police Chief, Datuk Azizi Mat Aris, along with other senior officers, interacted with the community and provided an opportunity for people to meet and engage with the leadership of the Perak State Police.
Also present at the event were the Chief of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Perak State Police, SAC Luqman Rahman, and the Chief of the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department of the Perak State Police, SAC Ng Kong Soon.
During the celebration, the Perak Police set up a Mobile Police Station, opened booths to distribute goodies, and distributed crime prevention pamphlets.
Additionally, free food and drinks were provided to attendees at the ‘Thaneer Panthal PDRM Perak’ tent on Raja Musa Aziz Road (Next to Wisma YMCA).
