IPOH: Dataran Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI) transformed into a martial arts arena when it was flooded with over 400 participants in the taekwondo sports event.
Their involvement aims to launch the logo and flag for the Perak Tourism International Invitation Taekwon-Do Championship 2024.
This event is jointly organized by the Perak Tourism Association and the Perak Taekwon-Do Association.
It was attended by 1,200 taekwondo participants from 13 different countries.
This indirectly introduces Ipoh City as a sports hub on the international stage.
Earlier, the launching ceremony of the championship’s logo and flag was officiated by the Mayor of Ipoh, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin.
This aims to cultivate the potential of our talented youth to provide a pool of talent for various sports, including taekwondo.
The organization of this event is intended to simultaneously expose and attract the interest of the younger generation in engaging with beneficial recreational activities.
