Each year of the Chinese zodiac is associated with an animal sign, and 2024 is the Year of the Dragon, considered a symbol of strength, courage, and good fortune.
In light of this, Sunway Theme Parks is not falling behind in celebrating the Chinese New Year with “Be ‘Long’ With You,” featuring 9 Dragons across their two water theme parks, Lost World Of Tambun (LWOT), and Sunway Lagoon.
From January 8th to February 28th at Sunway Lost World Of Tambun, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy the greatness of six magnificent dragons, namely Lightning Dragon, Fossil Dragon, Air Dragon, and Water Dragon in the Luminous Forest.
There is also a gigantic lantern dragon adorning the main entrance bridge and the Saphira Dragon captivating visitors at the LWOT hot spring.
Meanwhile, at Sunway Lagoon, three dragons will be showcased, including a 577 feet dragon adorned with red lanterns at the SDG walk. Also, a majestic dragon in vibrant blue and green will grace the Main Piazza.
At Sunway Lagoon, three Chinese New Year performances are set to take place: The Return of Kung Fu Dragon, Joyful of New Year and The Wind of the Bloom.
