IPOH: The Healthy Eating Active Living (H.E.A.L) Program at the Perak State Police Contingent Headquarters (IPK) took place in the IPK Perak premises last Monday.
Organized by the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department (JPJKK) of the Perak State Police in collaboration with the Lions Club Perak, the program aims to raise awareness of health care among the personnel at IPK Perak.
It fosters awareness of the importance of monitoring and checking health regularly, promotes a healthy lifestyle, and serves as a platform for Community Policing collaboration between the police force and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
The program is also relevant and practical for enhancing knowledge, creating awareness, and emphasizing the importance of monitoring and self-healthcare.
The Chief of Police of Perak, Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri, attended to inaugurate the program.
In his speech, Mohd Yusri expressed gratitude to the Lion Club Perak Association for their enthusiastic support of the PDRM team and for all the assistance and contributions provided for this health program.
