Rotary Club of Greentown Celebrates 30 Years of Service and Impact

The Rotary Club of Greentown, nestled within the vibrant community of District 3300, recently commemorated a significant milestone in its illustrious history; its 30th Pearl Anniversary.
Taking place on Feb 17 at Indulgence restaurant, with an attendance of 75 pax comprising of Rotarians from 20 Rotary Club’s all over Malaysia and 5 Districts worldwide, as well as 19 supportively ex-members, the guest of honour was the District Governor Teoh Kwan Swee and his spouse, also a Rotarian, Tan Ooi Kim.
Celebrating through the night to music from the restaurant Indulgence’s resident band, this celebration served as a testament to the club’s unwavering commitment to service, fellowship, and making a positive difference in the world.
Since its inception three decades ago, the Rotary Club of Greentown has been a beacon of hope and catalyst for change, embodying the core principles of Rotary International. From local initiatives aimed at addressing pressing community needs to global projects focused on eradicating disease and promoting peace, the club has left an indelible mark on countless lives.
