Public can get their online details in order this weekend
by KT Leong
This weekend will be the perfect opportunity to get your online details settled for several schemes.
Starting with March 9, from 9 am to 2 pm, at the Gurdwara Sahib Bercham Hall, Ipoh, there will be a physical counter where the public can fill out their details for both the Rahmah Cash Contribution (Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah or STR) as well as their details for the Poverty Eradication (Pembasmian Kemiskinan or E-KASIH) schemes.
Everyone should ensure that their STR is up to date in order to receive government aid with no issues.
On March 10, at the same time of 9 am to 2 pm, the public can go to the Gurdwara Sahib Tanjong Tualang Hall, Perak, where not only will there be a physical counter for STR and E-KASIH, but for the Central Database Hub (Pangkalan Data Utama, or PADU) as well.
PADU is a way for the government to get a better picture of the population’s household income and will allow the government to more easily distribute subsidies and other procedures. Therefore, the public are encouraged to set up a PADU account.
Simply remember to bring your telephone, MyKad and copies of your household’s MyKad as well as your bank account number.
