A workshop titled Feed Well For Dementia will be held at the Bolt & Nut Centre at 226A, Jalan Bercham, Taman Ria, 31400 Ipoh this coming Saturday on 27 April. The workshop will run from 10.30am until 12.30 pm, and will be inclusive of a set lunch.
This workshop will feature presentations by Positive Approach to Care with Dementia Skills Trainer, Mr. Calvin Chong, who is a fixture of the Dementia Cafe of Ipoh, and Dietician Yeoh Chai Yen and Speech Therapist Diong Zhi Zhi.
The program will highlight issues such as dietary issues in dementia progression and overcoming swallowing difficulties.
