Collaboration for Common Good

Perak Community Specialist Hospital (PCSH) will be collaborating with Universiti Kuala Lumpur Royal College of Medicine Perak (UniKL RCMP) for the common good. The collaboration shall bring together various medical students from the field of Physiotherapy, Medical Imaging, Pharmacy, Nursing and MBBS. This will be an excellent platform for the students to expose themselves to the real-world experience and at the same time enable the students to solidify their skills before stepping into the working world.

Chief Executive Officer of PCSH, Nicholas Chan (pic, 3rd from left) believes that it is critical for medical students to understand and make connections between the classroom and the real world. Not only that, Nicholas welcome these students to participate in the PCSH corporate social responsibilities programs, which will give a good opportunity to develop particular skills and exhibit their non-academic abilities as well.

Deputy Director of International, Industrial & Institutional Partnership (IIIP) Division, UniKL RCMP, Ahmad Zakuan Bin Khairuddin (pic, 4th from right) felt that the students would be able to learn about their career field from the inside and decide if this is the right field for them. He also added that the students would be able to work alongside the professionals in the chosen career area.
