Rotaract Club of University of Technology Petronas (UTP) visited Vision Home and Pertubuhan Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Setia in Ipoh on Saturday, March 24.
The visit was part of the Children Provision Charity 2018, an annual charity event organised by the club. The programme provides a platform for the organising committees, consisting mainly of students, to interact with the underprivileged and disabled children in order to better understand their needs.
The students were divided to two teams. The first team was deployed to Vision Home where the students cleaned the home and played games with the residents.
The other team went to Pertubuhan Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Setia. After the ice-breaking session the students participated in a colouring activity with the children.
At the end of the visit, both homes agreed to be part of the beneficiaries of Children Provision Charity 2018 during the course of the charity event.
