Camfil held its annual corporate social responsibility programme aptly named, “Camfil Caring Week” for one whole week recently. The objective was to integrate sustainability and corporate citizenship in every aspect of its business strategy.
Among the activities organised were a blood donation drive, fruit tree planting around the factory site, health screening and health talk in collaboration with Perak Community Specialist Hospital. Others included a laughter workout session, an 8.2-km walkathon and creating gifts out of landfill waste.
Long-serving Camfil staff were duly recognised for their service.
Among those present were Supply Chain Vice President for Asia Pacific and Middle East, Karunagaran Krishnan and Senior Quality and Sustainability Manager, Jaya Ranjini Pitchaimanickam.
