IPOH: Hospital Ar-Ridzuan has increased its bed capacity in an effort to enhance services and facilities provided to patients.
This includes the opening of a new ward with the addition of 6 patient beds, bringing the total number of beds in the hospital to 15 (excluding the Ortho ward).
The opening of the 6th floor ward, follows the insufficient existing bed capacity to accommodate the increasing number of patients since March.
The General Manager of Hospital Ar-Ridzuan, Umaisalmah Nawawi, stated that the addition of these beds demonstrates their commitment to providing better treatment to patients.
This also expands the hospital’s ability to deliver more effective and efficient services at Hospital Ar-Ridzuan.
“The new ward includes 1 Standard single room, 1 Single Deluxe room, and 2 double bedded rooms.
“The room rates are RM230 for a Single room, RM260 for a Single Deluxe room, and RM190 per day for a double bedded room.
“With the new facilities and the use of colors to create a conducive environment, the patient rooms in Ward 6 are comparable to those in other private hospitals,” she said.
The ward inauguration ceremony was earlier attended and officiated by the Chief Executive Officer of Perbadanan Ekonomi Islam Perak Sdn. Bhd., Amirul Hakim Abdullah.
This new ward will also serve as the Medical and Surgical Ward for accommodating patients under general medical and surgical cases.
Regarding future developments, Umaisalmah mentioned that Hospital Ar-Ridzuan will receive new equipment, including a Laparoscopic machine, to expand services and increase the number of surgical cases.
This effort underscores their ongoing commitment to advancing hospital services towards excellence.
