BATU GAJAH: In conjunction with Visit Perak Year 2024, Dinosaur Encounter World is offering free admission tickets to the first 1,000 visitors today.
In addition, Dinosaur Encounter World is also introducing their latest product, the 5D Immersive Track Motion Ride ‘Dino Matrix’.
Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism, Industry, Investment, and Corridor Development, Loh Sze Yee, said that promotions were also held in conjunction with the opening of the third phase of Dinosaur Encounter World.
“In conjunction with today’s opening, Dinosaur Encounter World is offering 1,000 free tickets.
“Therefore, all visitors, especially parents, should not miss the opportunity to bring their children. It is open from 11 AM to 7 PM,” he said at a press conference after inaugurating the third phase and Dino Matrix at Silverlakes Village Outlet here today.
Also present were Founder and CEO of WeGrow, Datuk Yong Lam Woei; Yangdipertua Batu Gajah District Council, Mohamad Razif Ramli; and Chief Technology Officer of WeGrow, Dr. Anir Syazwan Sharbirin.
According to him, besides the main focus on the Dino Matrix, the third phase also features several new sections for visitors to enjoy.
Today marks the opening of the third phase, and we will also launch the fourth phase later on.
“We have retained the elements from the first phase, while the latest phase includes the longest 360 LED Tunnel in Malaysia and an outdoor dinosaur park to add more fun for children.
“One of the main attractions is the Dino Matrix, a more advanced experience for visitors,” he said.
Sze Yee mentioned that the current ticket price for all phases is RM49 for adults and RM35 for children.
“It is a worthwhile ticket price, especially with the experience of the 5D Track Motion Ride (Dino Matrix).
“Dino Matrix can be a more effective learning experience for school children as they get to experience it in 5D rather than just reading books.
“This also adds to the tourism products in Perak,” he said.
He added that the management also offers packages for visitors coming in groups.
Meanwhile, Lam Woei said that the tourism center has so far been visited by 50,000 people since the initial phase opening.
“After the opening of this new phase, we are targeting a total attendance of 200,000 visitors this year,” he said.
