BATU GAJAH: Batu Gajah District Council (MDBG) has implemented the Community Recycling Day (3R Programme) at the Batu Gajah Community Square.
The biodiesel company, Green Energy Asia (GEA), participated in the event, engaging with the community to promote the practice of collecting used cooking oil.
The initiative of this programme allows for various recyclable wastes to be collected.
It is hoped that this effort will ensure environmental sustainability for the long term.
The earlier programme was officiated by the President of MDBG, Mohamad Razif Ramli.
He also presented certificates of appreciation to government agencies, private agencies, colleges and universities, and communities involved.
