The public who come to donate blood at AEON Mall in Station 18 shopping center can feel comfortable as the provided space is better.
While some places hold blood donation programs in open spaces, AEON Mall at Station 18 provides a dedicated area.
The Blood Donation Suite located on the 1st floor of AEON Mall Station 18 is also easily accessible as it is not hidden away.
Previously, AEON Mall provided another space for blood donation before moving to the current location.
Operating hours are from 10 AM to 6 PM and open every day.
Blood donor Ahmad Mahmud Ibrahim said the location provides comfort to donors.
“Previously, when we donated blood in open spaces, it didn’t feel private especially for female donors with people passing by.
“We see that the staff from Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun (HPRB) are also comfortable and it’s easier for them to perform their duties,” he said.
Another donor, Shahril Ishak, praised AEON Mall’s efforts for providing this dedicated space to facilitate hospital staff.
“Here, there are rooms for doctors and staff, so it’s more convenient and orderly,” he said.
