IPOH: Swift action by a team of Bercham Volunteer Firefighters successfully captured a large lizard found roaming in the neighbourhood.
The incident occurred last Wednesday in Taman Pakatan Jaya.
The Bercham Volunteer Firefighters received an emergency call about the situation from residents at 6:37 PM.
In response, a fire engine with four personnel was dispatched to the scene, arriving approximately seven minutes later.
Despite the reptile’s attempts to hide, it was successfully captured and later released into a remote area away from the residential neighbourhood.
