IPOH: In a remarkable affirmation of its excellence in the private education sector, Bonanza Educare announced today that three of its schools have won awards at this year’s Private Education Entrepreneur Association of Malaysia (PEEAM) EduAwards.
Its preschool and kindergarten, Kinder Labz, was named Elite Winner in The Best Preschool of the Year category while its language centre, Ipoh Learning & Training Institute (ILTI), which specialises in Cambridge English, also earned the recognition of Elite Winner in The Best Enrichment Academy of the Year – Language Enrichment Programs category. Meanwhile, the education group’s newest international school, Knewton Global Schools Rawang, came in fifth for The People’s Choice Award for Education.
Hailed as the most prestigious event for professionals in private education, the PEEAM EduAwards 2024 saw a total 516 brands compete in 44 categories.
Bonanza Educare Director of Schools, Ms Evelyn Chen Lee Na said every policy made, every decision undertaken, every lesson taught was centred on the learning of its students.
“We put learning at the heart of everything we do and when you love what you do, everything is easy.
“We love children, we love educating and so, educating children is like a dream come true, packaged in a nice big bungalow,” she said after the awards ceremony at the Cheras North International Convention Centre (CNICC) in Kuala Lumpur last Saturday (29 June 2024).
Chen added that the recognition by PEEAM would spur the group to do better as it explored how best to differentiate itself from other schools and learning institutions.
On the achievement by Knewton Global Schools Rawang, Chen said: “It is remarkable that a newcomer school can create such an impact so early on.
“Our campus is beautiful, and we will continue to equip it with the right people and the right equipment to provide the best education to the leaders of tomorrow, today!”
