MUALLIM: The number of flood victims in the Muallim district decreased to 59 people from 13 families last night.
This marks a significant drop compared to the previously reported 165 people from 32 families.
However, the number of affected villages has increased to six, up from four previously.
According to a spokesperson for the Perak State Disaster Operations Control Center (PKOB) last night, there has been an increase in the number of victims and families at the temporary evacuation center (PPS) at Dewan Kampung Pauh Behrang Stesen.
The spokesperson stated that 49 victims from 10 families from Kampung Sri Behrang and Kampung Pauh are housed at the PPS.
Meanwhile, 10 victims from three families from Kampung Ketoyong, Kampung Leonardo, Kampung Berop, and Kampung Kelawar are staying at PPS SMK Khir Johari Tanjong Malim.
