The “Worlds of Wonder” International Art Exhibition, jointly organised by the Soka Gakkai Malaysia (Perak Branch), Malaysia Perak Art Society, and Asia International Art Stream, begins 29th August until the 8th of September, 2024, at the Soka Gakkai Malaysia Culture Centre in Ipoh.
The Opening Ceremony will be held on 30 August 2024 (Friday), graced by the esteemed presence of Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Raja Puan Besar Perak Darul Ridzuan Raja Nazhatul Shima Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris A’fifullah Shah DK II (Johor), SPCM, SSAP,JP.
There will be 78 participating artists from 10 countries, namely, China, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Türkiye, Vietnam, Pakistan, and Malaysia. The exhibition, themed “Worlds of Wonder,” showcases the diversity and richness of art, and aims to foster cultural exchange and understanding. It offers visitors the chance to explore different cultures and artistic styles, with each artwork presenting a unique interpretation of the artist’s world.
The “Worlds of Wonder” International Art Exhibition is not only a platform for art enthusiasts to connect with global artists but also an opportunity for artists to showcase their talent and creativity. This exhibition allows artists to share their artistic concepts and unique expressions with an international audience, gaining recognition and inspiration while encouraging the next generation of artists to pursue their creative dreams.
Through this platform, audiences will have the opportunity to explore various artistic worlds, enhancing their understanding and respect for different cultures and creative expressions. The organisers hope to promote the development of regional cultural and artistic industries, positively impacting society.
